Ship Repairers Liability Insurance

Ship repairers are responsible for vessels and equipment in their care custody and control. They are also responsible for third party liabilities arising during ship repair operations.

The Ship Repairers Liability (SRL) policy is designed to cover against liability arising from acts of negligence which result in loss or damage to property in care, custody, control of the insured or to property damage or bodily injury to other third parties whilst working on a ship or at the insured’s yard. The cover under the policy is extended to include cover for legal costs and expenses.
