The Public Liability Policy covers the insured’s legal liability (including legal defence costs and expenses) for death, bodily injury and/or property damage to any third party arising out of or in connection with the business.
The policy can be extended to cover the following additional risks depending upon the business of the insured:
The cover can be taken either for liability arising from the premises (i.e location of business operations) or for the overall business activity of the insured within the territorial limits.
A wider form of legal liability coverage to include third party/product/pollution liability, etc.
Covers legal liability to third party caused by products sold or supplied by the insured
Insurance to compensate the insured employees in respect of any bodily injury, disease, illness or death suffered in the course of employment
Covers legal liability incurred by individual directors and officers resulting from their negligence while performing their duties of running the organisation
Covers the errors and omissions of professionals whilst performing their duties
Covers the errors and omissions of medical professionals and institutions
