CBUAE Regulation - Instant Messaging Applications

In line with the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates notification (Ref: CBUAE/MCS/2026/2058 dated 17 April 2026), all licensed financial institutions are required to store and maintain customer and transaction data within the UAE.

Accordingly, Gargash Insurance Services can no longer accept or exchange communications/ documents/payment details  on instant messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger.

For all insurance and claims-related enquiries, customers are requested to use our approved and secure communication channels:

This measure is implemented with effect from 27th April 2026 to ensure the highest standards of data privacy and confidentiality. Non-compliance with the regulation may result in supervisory or administrative actions, including financial penalties, as determined by CBUAE.
