This insurance is meant for plant and equipment used by Contractors
at various contract sites. As generally the items insured are
expensive machinery and plant it is necessary to ensure that
the cover taken is proper. Some items of plant may require liability
cover which needs to be evaluated. Erection dismantling and
transit covers are also critical.
Extreme care should be taken to draft the policy and ensuring
that the widest possible extensions are obtained.
